I don't get people who rated this lower than a 4 or 5. This DVD player is great! I have a samsung TV and they 'talk to each other - ex turn on blue ray play and tv turns on automatically). Picture quality is a+, no glitches found, 3d is fab, and the online stuff you can do via the player is amazing. I purchased because of a packaged deal - but love it - and the design is a+ too very contemporary and sleek!

I had to buy this to watch 3D on my Samsung UN55C8000 LED TV. The model is very slick and light. The touch based controls are good. It loads discs very fast. Except for 3D it is just like any other Blu-ray player. Do hook it up to internet and update the Firmware (regularly). The Internet and Apps are good. The 3D capability is good (Alient vs Monsters) but not impressive.

Don't get me wrong, this Blu-ray DVD player puts out a beautiful picture when it's working, but it overheats to the point that it doesn't work anymore. Thank god for Amazon's no hassle returns policy because I had to send my first one back due to the fact that it stopped playing Blu-ray movies. Now with my new one I've propped it up on blocks so it can get good air flow. It looks super cheesy but it seems to help. I expected more for my $400.

I just purchased this player and glasses along with a new samsung 3d tv. I HAVE NOT actually received them yet but I thought I'd let buyers know that they need to buy EVERYTHING from Amazon to recieve the discount. Originally things added to my cart were from different vendors so the bill was $600 more than them being free with the tv purchase. Make sure to go into each item individually and not add all three at once because you may not get that discount. Again this isnt't a review of the player but rather just trying to save everyone a few hundred bucks!
